I'm Learning Joomla Component Development!

Hi Guys,
I'm Olivia. Looking to design a website for my new cell phone business. I'm not looking to hire someone to build it, because I want to learn! But I am feeling slightly overwhelmed here. Any good tutorials or video sessions with Joomla step-by step for newbies?

I'm a tech savvy person, but not when it comes to web design. I would greatly appreciate any ideas and input from the community. I've already installed Joomla 3.0 on my host at BlueHost, so the back end is configured., now for the design side of things. Please help me if you can.

The best way is to look at sites you find appealing.  Joomla! is certainly the right vehicle for you.  But to get the design you want is both product and customer attraction so do not expect 'magic' - it is a hard and sometimes long search to find somethig you like.  Itime investment at this stage will provide rewards latter.  Techie people like me could then give guidance for specific objectives, but design is an art!
