Give Class or ID to layout output
« on: 09.01.2015 10:08:57 »
Hi, i would set some classes and ID to the layout output. But when i edit the layout and assign classes, the output is without this classes.

I'm trying to edit the main layout only, with the 4 main categories showed. I tried to edit (from backend) the Summary layout and also the Category layouy, but nothing appened...

Can someone help me to assign classes and id?

Thankyou.

Hi
EDIT:  I think you may need to upgrade to jD3.2 series
Could you perhaps post the layout code you have modified.  Classes should be OK but id's may be a problem as they need to be unique in a page.
Presume you made a copy of a layout, modified it and then set it as the active one.

Have you looked at Editing a Layout: http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/editing-a-layout
and Simple Example of Layout Editing: http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/simple-example-of-layout-editing

Note also that jDownloads now has a custom css see Custom css http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/custom-css  it would be a good idea to put your class(es) in that file
You should also save your modified layouts as upgrading jDownloads will overwrite them.
