Backup/restore custom layout
« on: 11.12.2014 17:32:18 »
Hi,

since I am using own layouts without redundant tables, whose look is defined by central css, it would be nice to have a backup/restore function. So I could easily install my layouts into the next site. The component ChronoForms eg. offers this to transfer one developped form into another site.

Thanks!
Herbert

Hi Herbert,
this seems to be a useful idea. But we can first add new features in version 3.3 as we need first a stable release 3.2.

By the way, you can also copy and paste it in the new website, or not?

Hi Arno,

yes of course, I can copy/paste. Actually, this is one way right now, but there are many different fields for header, footer, content etc. which you have to copy/paste each at a time. So, I dump the respective mysql table instead with all information in one step…

Regards,
Herbert
