Hello,
we are experiencing a very strange problem. We installed jDownloads 1.9.1.5 Stable on a Joomla 2.5.24 site.
Everything went OK until the final download tests. Google Chrome doesn't manage correctly some pdf downloads, no matter in what category we put the files.
Here below I summarize the many tests results we did to try and understand the problem better.
All the tests are made using 2 different computers, one having Windows XP and another one having Windows Vista. No differences were noted.

Here are the results:

Chrome
file.zip - download OK
file.doc - download OK
file.pdf - download OK UNTIL 10.1K, result in another tab with the internal viewer; download NOT OK for bigger files (*)

Internet Explorer
file.zip - download OK
file.doc - download OK
file.pdf - download OK for any dimension, result in another windows

Firefox
file.zip - download OK
file.doc - download OK
file.pdf - download OK for any dimension, result  in another tab using the internal viewer.

(*) Google Chrome shows the pdf opening, but when the circular step image show that the file is arrived the browser tab freeze itself.
In the windows Vista computer we try also to change the viewer, installing the Adobe viewer for Chrome, but the problem remains the same.  :-\
This is valid doing the download from front-end; all the links in the back-end operates perfectly.

I attached a screenshot showing the frozen Chrome windows.

As you can see the problem is limited and strange. Any idea?
TIA
Francesco
