#406 Upload Error
« on: 20.08.2014 15:51:42 »
Using both Manage Files > Upload and the "New Download" upload generates a 406 Upload Error when trying to upload any documents - but only at my client's office.

I can upload files fine from my office, but I have two clients who use JDownloads who are in the same building who cannot upload any documents to two different websites.

To reiterate: I can upload to two separate websites from my office, my clients cannot upload to either websites from their office - generating a 406 error.

Joomla Ver. 2.5.24 jDownloads ver 1.9.1.5 Stable

Thanks guys!

Versions have been updated with still the same problem.

Hi,
this problem has nothing to do with jDownloads self.
It seems to be a problem with the 'mod security' on the server.
Read here as example:
https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/apache-mod-security-update-how-to-fix-error-406-or-not-acceptable-issue-259
You can find many other hints via google.
Best Regards / Gruß
