'Auto monitoring' function question
« on: 04.06.2014 15:51:12 »
i had another look and first i found that the admin tools security blocked the scan.php - i have added that to the .htaccess so the scan runs when i click on it.

i do now see that the system picks up the downloads under the categories, but it leaves the top level category as disabled and the downloads as enabled even though the category do exists?

i have attached a image - on it i have a dir/category 2014 that does exists but the system set it to unpublished

below that i have old directories that no longer exists QC, under that MDF and other. Also Payments - all unpublished which is correct

but now i have 6 Remittance directories that is published, but because the top level 2014 is unpublished, it is not being displayed on the front end

i think the user deleted the directory and the system set it to unpublished which is fine but then they created the directory again - just taking a guess, but i think that is what happened - is there a way to get this enabled again without going through all the files/directories which is allot?

maybe a unix time stamp command - i do not know how your system works so just thinking...

oh - another thing that might help you - halfway in developing the site i have moved from a test environment to live environment and with that different ftp users - maybe that is something that might assist you with solving this
