Feature List
« on: 03.04.2014 09:15:11 »
Hi Arno

Your release is great! The first tests runs very good. Some configuration settings weren't imported, but that's not bad.
And I found out, that you shouldn't try to import the old database entries, when you don't have the same folder-structure (because it messes then up with the parent-category). But it doesn't seem to be a bug which must be fixed. This is only only because of my testing area.

What I actually would like to ask is for a feature list.
Do you have a list, where all the changes and new features are listed? So I can test this out. :)

Another question: Multiple categories for files arent realized yet?

Is already possible. But you can do it only indirect. See pic.

Sorry but please describe this more im detail. Why should users have the idea to change the folder structure before he start the update?

Haha it was only for testing. I made a backup without the subfolders of the downloads. Because to save disk space :) I can't really describe the error. It just showed me many subcategories as maincategorie at the main page. First I thought jDownloads doesn't use the folder structure anymore but then I recognized, that it was because of the missing folders on the webserver :)
So don't waste your time with that bug :)

Thanks, thats great!
So then I must fill in the information for every download?
My input would be a synchronize button in the control panel next to "Check Download area now" or for every download.
I thought a solution like this: update * from #__jdownloads... set * where file_ID = $alternatively_ID
Would this possible?
