I switched off the long description, language, price, ... and that works on the upload page.

But this setup is ignored in the detail page and also when the user edits his upload. ALL the fields are there, even meta data!

This is very critical! I think that is a bug bcause there is nothing in the edit tab in the config that would let me change any of this.

Is there a work around? Thanks.

hi,
the selected data fields for the upload form has nothing to do with the deatils view page.
So you must manually remove in the details layout all not wished placeholders.

That the edit page viewed all data fields can be a bug... i must check this.  ::)

This is highly impractical because when I later decide to switch back on some fields I also have to alter all the templates again. Maybe that can be changed in the new version.
