activating the jdownloads search plugin
« on: 09.12.2013 11:59:21 »
Hi,

A newbie here...can anyone help please? Jdownloads is an amazing tool, but I have a problem with it...

My problem with searching through the downloads at the front end, is that it only searches  >in Title or >in Description.

I read I had to install the Jdownloads Search Plugin. So I've installed the jdownloads Search Plugin with the Extension manager in Joomla 2.5, then went to enable the pluging in: joomla Plug-in Manager > Plug-ins.

But it doesn't appear on the site, or within the jdownloads Configuration > Plugins.

What do I need to do to publish it? :-[

Cheers!

Domimal

PS: Also do I have to have the Content Plugin installed too? What is for?

Hi,
see pic.

The content plugin need you only then, when you will display downloads in Joomla article content.

Right!! I was looking at including it inside the Jdownloads module... I guess that's not possible.
Thanks for all your help.
Keep up the good work!
