Show Hits in mod_jdownloads_latest_2.0.2 ?
« on: 29.05.2013 17:41:41 »
Hello,

please tell me how to show count of downloaded files in mod_jdownloads_latest_2.0.2, will say for example a number between brackets after filename to show how meny people already downloaded this file. Is this an option or do i have to use another Module for this purpose?

Thank you and best regards

Hi, what is with the 'top' module?
Hello Arno, thank you for your fast answer. The top module shows the most downloaded files if i understand right, but i would like to show the recent uploaded files, just with hits like in top module.

Best regards, Macjoomla

PS Sorry, over looking and testing i had totally forgotten to say this is a real cool component and i am very thankful for the chance to use it  8)

Hi,
it exists current not a module, what views the newest downloads WITH amount of hits.
It is also not useful, then the value is normally very low.

Schade, we used to show our downloads that way before and i didnt thought it could not be possible. However thank you for your reply. Do you think it is possible for a normal human to combine the hits from top module into the latest module?

Thank you and best regards, Macjoomla

Hi,
i have it added for you, but it is not tested.  See below.
Check after installation at first the module params.
When you have problems with the output, open the default.php in tmpl folder.
The 'Hits' output begins at line 104.

Hello Arno,

wow, super herzlichen Dank für die Hilfe. Thank you for pimping the module. First try was not 100% working. I will take a look little closer and look if i can fix this myself in default.php.. Otherwise maybe i will come to you with another question ;-) It shows the hits for the first entry only and then looks as if it shows only the first digit. In my case 3 instead of 30.

Thank you and best regards, Macjoomla  8)

Also herzlichen Dank nochmal und viele Grüße, Macjoomla
