Problem with translation
« on: 27.03.2013 09:32:30 »
Hello,

Thank you again for your great component ! I'm trying to translate it in Bulgarian. So far so good, but some of the strings would not translate, for example:

COM_JDOWNLOADS_LINKTEXT_DOWNLOAD_URL="Свали" (I tried all "Download" but no success)
COM_JDOWNLOADS_FE_VIEW_ID3_ALBUM="Албум: "
COM_JDOWNLOADS_FE_VIEW_ID3_TITLE="Заглавие: "
COM_JDOWNLOADS_FE_VIEW_ID3_YEAR="Година: "
COM_JDOWNLOADS_FE_VIEW_ID3_ARTIST="Изпълнител: "
COM_JDOWNLOADS_FE_VIEW_ID3_GENRE="Жанр: "
COM_JDOWNLOADS_FE_VIEW_ID3_LENGTH="Дължина: "
COM_JDOWNLOADS_FE_VIEW_ID3_MINS="мин. "

I've created a separate language file, most of the translations are working, but some not, there not all listed here.
In the frontend it would simly stay English.

Please help !

Best Regards

HI,
i hope you know, that it exists always bulgarian language files.
You will find this in the jDownloads installation package 1.9.1 and also on transifex.
Please read this:
http://www.jdownloads.com/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=211&Itemid=166

When you will use own translated language files, it is very useful to activate for testing the language debug option in Joomla config.
Best Regards / Gruß

The file for the frontend is the same as for the backend.
But why use you not the still exists language in jD installation file? See pic.
You must only install again jDownloads. Read here:
