Ps. i will help translate the plugin to Polish
A polish translation exists always in the installation package. Make sure that you have installed the Joomla polish language package before you install jD, then the language files are copied to Joomla.

Ok i will reinstal this in proper order.

Hm... have you created new 'joomla user access levels', or joomla user groups?

Hm.. jD 1.9 supports not complete the new Joomla ACL.
But when you will send me login data (as admin) via PM, i wiil seen what i can do.

Quote from jD description in details page:

Important:

the functionality is (nearly) the same as the last jD version for Joomla 1.5 - no new features
the source code is only changed for Joomla 2.5 and is not new coded (this comes later this year and is in work)
the new ACL (Access Control List) in Joomla 2.5 is not supported current. jD used again your own access groups system

Btw, we are now off topic with your new problem. So please use a new topic or PM.

Ok, the 'fix' discribed works for me but I need something better for the long term.  My people need a WSYWIG editor so what are my options because no editor isn't one.

Has you tried other editors?
Have you also read all 'troubleshooting' FAQs?

Troubleshooting FAQs?  I'll have to look into those.
I haven't tried other editors but my people probably wouldn't like it if I changed up their editor on them.

I'll look into it.

Hi,
please try this:
- deactivate the auto monitoring option in jD config
- activate a other editor
when nothing has changed, try this:
- use this jD settings (see pic) and try it again

Fact is, that only a few users has this problem and it is not possible for me to reproduce it here.

Where is the pic????

Hi there,

after upgrading Joomla to 2.5.24 I detected this same error message. Unfortunately none of the steps described here so far (deactivating monitoring, deactivating WYSIWYG, no JHackGuard plugin) helped me. Some new ideas?

Thanks and regards,
Herbert

Issue solved: the 'Better Preview' plugin of NoNumbers had to be deactivated. After their last update of the plugin the error in jDownload appeared. I reported the bug to Nonumbers.

In case, anybody else experiences this issue, it might be of help.

Regards, Herbert
