How to install language from Transifex?
« on: 01.05.2012 20:51:21 »
I have jDownloads 1.9 successfully installed, and would like to add the Spanish translation. I see that there is no Spanish installer package, but I can grab the files from Transifex. What do I do next? Manually copy the Transifex files onto my server? Create a Spanish installer package (which I would be happy to share with the community)? Something else?

Hi,
- download the files from transifex
- rename the files to: es-ES.com_jdownloads.ini and es-ES.com_jdownloads.sys.ini
- copy both files via FTP program to the folder: /administrator/language/es-ES
- copy the file es-ES.com_jdownloads.ini also to this folder: /language/es-ES
Best Regards / Gruß

Have you installed the spanish language package for Joomla?

You can use the joomfish fork 'FaLang'.
Read also the faq here:
How can i use JoomFish (or FaLang) with jDownloads?
