i cannot install the arabic language for jd version 1.8.2 im using jdownloads 1.9 in joomla 1.7.2 please help me

you must download the files from here:
https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/jd-i18n/resource/admin_en-gbcom_jdownloadsini/
https://www.transifex.net/projects/p/jd-i18n/resource/admin_en-gbcom_jdownloadssysini/

rename it then to:
ar-SA.com_jdownloads.ini and
ar-SA.com_jdownloads.sys.ini

the last file is not complete translated, please check it.
Copy then the files to the language folders in your joomla.

Due the missing locales (Arabian), you should check which locale is used in your installation and rename the jdownloads files to the proper locale, eg. if you're with ar-SY (Syria) your files should be ar-SY.com_blah.....

Are there any plans to release an official translation for Polish language? I'd like to help if you might need some assistance. There's unofficial translation available to download but it's not properly done IMHO.

All jD downloads translations are at Transifex: https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/jd-i18n/

The Romanian translation isn't complete yet, you can start to translate it yourself.
