Even in super user i can't enable it. I check the box, Click save and it just wont stay checked.
I want this feature available to bypass the menu item so a user group (Editor) with correct permissions can just upload from the files page view.

I am doing loops trying to get it to stay enabled.

Is the somewhere in PHPmyadmin I can force it ?

Hi
This does sound strange. When you say
QuoteI check the box, Click save and it just wont stay checked.
are you referring to
User Groups Settings - Group Creation/Editing Settings - field 'Display add/upload icon'  in the Super User Group?

Does the Super User Group have the highest ranking in User Groups Settings?

Can you change other fields in User Groups Settings - Group Creation/Editing Settings?

Super user is the highest level. But i can't even enable it on that user. I have automatic login as Editor for all users as it is only accessible by work staff. So i wish to allow that front end upload option for the Editor User, Editor = Registered, Author, Publisher etc with what i believe is the appropriate permissions. Other than this little drama i am having the component is the best iv'e seen in Joomla for years.

 Hi
Have you set Deny permission anywhere?  The effects of Deny can be quite unexpected!!!
Can you change other fields in the User Groups Settings?
If you send me super user loging details I will check things (use a Private Message by click on the whitish square with a tail near my name)
