News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

My uploads were working fine then all the sudden when I upload a file from the uploads area it shows 100% then HTTP error. What is happening here? Nothing has changed to my knowledge. Happens using Chrome, IE or Firefox.

Hi
Suggest you contact your web hosting service as there are directives coming out that seem to require sites to use https.  Think it might be a new European directive but situation seems unclear to me.
If it is that then please let us know

My upload problem still persist and my host, Stablehost, says there is no such restriction in place. I have never had this problem with Jdownloads. Been using it for several years. Any suggestions?

Hi
Can you please try changing field 'Uploader runtime' in jD config Uploads tab from All Runtimes to say HTML5 in the pulldown.
If still a problem could you PM me super user login details and I will take a closer look
