Duplicate CATEGORY AND DOWNLOADS

Hello everybody
i have a category with some directory and 100 files
i need the same download area but for new group of users and with few files news

i saw i can copy categaroy and files too.. but files is empty... there isn't a way to duplicate all ?

Hi Denis
Not sure I understand your question .  Do you mean that you want some of Downloads in the Category to be available to one User Group (UG) and other files to be only available to a separate UG?

no sorry.. I mean..
i want copy 5 category and 10 subcategroy with all same files
then i'll add another category with new files

for a new group of users

my question is : i saw i can copy categories, i can copy files too but the files aren't moved in this new link
i have to do manually for each files i duplicate?
or there is a way to make it faster?

Hi
I assume you went to Categories in the backend and then used the Batch function to copy the categories.  This only moves the Categories not the Downloads they contain.
So to move/copy the Downloads go to Downloads in Backend. 

   
• Select the 'source' Category using the Select Category box.
• Tick which Downloads you want to move or copy.
• Use the Batch function to actually select  Copy or Move and execute.
