Preview Player statistics

Hi first of all thanks for all the work.
There is a way for create a statistics about files passed through the media player like the downloaded ones? Now when i listen a files in the media player the downloaded counter not show any count i want to count it

Hi
The download counter only gets updated when the item is downloaded.  You are right that if it is activated as a preview it is not counted as a Download.
You could make having a preview counter as a suggestion for a future release (in Suggestions Forum).

so no hack for make the play count as download ? neither a js callback on some entrypoint?

I do not like to suggest 'hacks' as it makes items non standard with potential support problems.
