Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

Hello

Excuse in advance for the translation I made with Google Translate :) .

For some images I would like to propose the possibility of downloading them in several versions : color, black and gray. I can not see how to have 3 buttons for a single download.

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi
Thanks for using Google translate.
Do you mean that the 3 images are the main downloadable file?  Or that you would like to see three preview pictures?

jD is not an extensive image editor application.
So in the first case it would need 3 separate Downloads.  In the second case you can readily add multiple preview files and modify a layout to show the thumb nails.

But why would someone want anything except a colour version?  If they are a graphic spe***t who likes to have say a picture gallery of grey tone images then I suspect they would have suitable software on their PC, the GIMP program comes to mind.

Then I will make 3 separate downloads. It is for the logo of our association, it is proposed in several versions for people who could not use an image software, like Gimp. But having 3 separate downloads is not a problem. And for a PDF file is it possible?

Hi
Yes using a pdf file for the download is normal.  So you could have pdf's, png's and so on.
If it is a logo I would suggest from a graphics viewpoint you use a png type as that can have a transparent background so it works ok when printed on coloured paper.
