- The Joomla! Release version! 3.3.3
- The used jDownloads version! 3.2.11
- System Information: PHP, MySQL and version numbers for each (important!) PHP 5.4.32 SQL 5.5.37-35
- Whether your site is Localhost (XAMPP, WAMP for example). Apache, via hosting provider justhost.com

I've just upgraded the siet to jdownlaod 3.2.11 from 1.9.

Category sorting does not appear to work. When I do into configuration & set the download sort order to most recent first. the sort order does not obey that rule. I cannot work out what order it is, but it's not date order.

Worse still. If I create a jdownlaod menu item, single category & change the download sort order to most resent first. All I get is an SQL statement. See here

This next link is setup the same as the first one but Oldest first, which works fine.

Problem is I want newest first. Some advice would be appreciated. I also have a problem with the latest module, but I'll post a separate topic to keep issues separate.

Hi
Yes there is an ongoing problem with Sort.  I used the sort on http://pdarcs.com.au/index.php/items-of-interest/club-newsletters
and it works fine.  Have hot tried replicating your other case but will do so when I get back.  Think a new beta will be out soon which may address issue.

Hi Colin,

Have you had a chance to investigate this. I need to ability to soft documents bases on newest first.

Also, can you give me an idea when the Content Plugin for version 3.2 will be released.

Hi
I have been away on hols for a few days but Arno has done some stuff.
Could you please try setting the Admin default sort order to newest first to see if that is OK with Front End set to Default - this may be a temporary solution.
