News:

Support for jDownloads 3 has been ended
Since 17 August 2023 Joomla.org has discontinued support for Joomla 3.x. Therefore, we will no longer offer official support for our Joomla 3 jDownloads version 3.9.x from January 2024.
Please update your website to the latest Joomla version (Joomla 4 or Joomla 5) as soon as possible. Afterwards, please update jDownloads to the latest published version. The longer you delay, the more difficult the upgrade process for your website is likely to be.

I reported that here http://www.jdownloads.com/forum/index.php?topic=6897.msg26747#msg26747

This bug is still there in 2.3.6.

1. bug: Category links do not contain the &Itemid=XX parameter.

2. bug: The link to the upload form has a &Itemid=XX, but that is different from the menu item that points to that jdownloads category.

Hi,

Quote1. bug: Category links do not contain the &Itemid=XX parameter.
Siehe unten...
Quote2. bug: The link to the upload form has a &Itemid=XX, but that is different from the menu item that points to that jdownloads category.
Siehe meine Pics.

After checking the website administration (backend), this problem seems not to be a bug but more a sh404sef issue (in DB stored earlier created URL's).

By the way, it can be useful to know your additional installed components.  ;)

Deleting and rebuilding of the sh404sef links solved the issue.
