Jdownloads 1.8 doesn't create auto thumbnail and screenshot after upload

Hi there,
since i've updated to the latest Jdownloads and joomla 1.5.23 the auto thumbnail and screen shot creation stopped working.
This what i do: I create a new download, upload the jpg file (which is the file to be downloaded) in large size through jdownloads and save the download.
in the past, a thumbnail and screen shot was automatically created.

I'm using: jDownloads 1.8.1 RC 2 Build 833
Status: GD Library is present!
PHP Built on:    Linux web24.tiscomhosting.nl 2.6.32-31-generic-pae #61-Ubuntu SMP Fri Apr 8 20:00:13 UTC 2011 i686
Database Version:    5.1.45-0.dotdeb.0
Database Collation:    utf8_general_ci
PHP Version:    5.3.2-1ubuntu4.9
Web Server:    Apache/2.2.14 (Ubuntu)
And all folders are writable.

Has you uploaded also a screenshot in the additional fields?

I work in the moment on the next release (coming soon). In this are added new picture options.
