jDownloads top module Version:1.8.3 - File Counter?

Guten Tag Arno

I updated to the jDownloads top module Version:1.8.3. There doesn`t seem to be the file counter (ie. how many downloads) in the module parameters - to show the total count downloads.

I am quite sure that this is the module I need. I`d like to display the MOST POPULAR documents downloaded.

No need to apologize man. I am extremely grateful. I have totally dropped docman for jdownloads.

In the next release, users might want the ability to turn the hit count on or off --- or justify the text on the left or right (like the date is).

The count is very far to the right of the document title.

Thought I the older module version had document count and the ability to manage it but my memory is fading these days too.

Hi,
i have changed the latest module. So you can now also for this module use the option: View date in the same line
Please test the new version below.

Note: When the text for the new option is not viewed, copy the unzipped language file manually to the /language/en-GB folder.

By the way, the hits is correct viewed in the top downloads module...

It isn't installing. Says installed success but it does show up.

Why you think that it is not installed correctly?  
When you see the new options in module settings, the module is correct updated.

The module does not appear in the list of modules. I have cleared the cache, logged in and out and it doesn't - how I shall - become visible.
I looked in my file directory and it's not listed as a module
Totally bizarre.
I reinstalled 1.8.3 then try the reinstallatin of 1.8.4 again.

OK, I has found a bug for install the language file. Is fixed. Please install it new (see file below).

That's the mod_latest module, not the mod_top module..

In top documents module, so people know how popular the document is by the number of hits/downloads it has.
