Installation of translation packet for Portuguese-Brazil

Hello out there,

I am running Joomla 15.22 with a recent upgrade to jDownloads v1.8.1 RC 2 Build 833!

I just wonder if I am doing something very wrong, or if this is a misbehaviour of the translation packet I am using. I simply tried to install the Portuguese-Brazil Language Version (for jD 1.8.1 RC2) through the Joomla installation manager (Extension Manager -> Install -> pt-br_jdownloads_jailsonbr_v1.8.1_rc2_build_831.zip -> Upload & install).

The error message is: "Unable to write entry"

Would really appreciate some hint on how to solve this.

Hello,

I've managed to install the files manually into the directories:
../administrator/language/pt-BR
../language/pt-BR

This method worked. However the automatic process failed out of some reason.

Hello, i'm trying to install in 1.5.23 the catalan trans 1.8.2_850 and get the same message. I'll try to install in folders, but the pack doesn't work for me.

when you has copied it manually in the correct language folder, it works?

Yes, it works.
I've tried because bento124 said that its a diferent way. Admin's files and site one in their place works for me.
