Upload Page- Solved

Hi, Need some help. I have just changed my joomla from http to https as im wanting the website more secure. The Only problem is now i cant access the jdownloads upload page. im just getting The requested page can't be found. any ideas as i dont have a clue.

Problem identified as having a Custom Module allocated to all pages, this interferred with the jD upload in front end.  Not related to changing HTTP to HTTPSColin

dont know if this would help but the page states this 0 Call to a member function get() on null

Hi
It might be that you have changed the htaccess file to prevent access.  Cannot think of any other cause as it works OK with https.
What type of server are you using? Is it a Cpanel one ?

ive figured out whats causing it but i dont know how to fix it. ive used Content - jDownloads in plugins ive then added some downloads to the front page of my website but when i enable content - jDownloads it makes my upload page

if i disable content - jdownloads the upload page starts working. this only started when i changed to https.

maybe im missing something but i dont think its my server.

fixed sorted if anyone else has the same problem on creating a custom module and then has the problem with the upload page not working change the custom module menu assessment to only on selected pages and deselect downloads page to the module does not show on the downloads page or upload page otherwise it will cause the upload page to disappear.

Thanks for the update and the explanation.
On your .htaccess file I would suggest you move the two linesRewriteCond %{HTTPS} !=on
RewriteRule ^(.*)$ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301,NE] to immediately after RewriteEngine On so that the https redirect is actioned first.
