Frontend Download erstellen ergibt "0 - Call to a member function get() on null"

Hallo,

Ich habe auf demselben Webspace 2 Joomlainstanzen (also php, mysql etc. alles gleich).
Joomla ist jeweils 3.9.5, jDownloads jeweils 3.2.64

In beiden Installationen gibt es für registrierte User die Möglichkeit, im Frontend einen Download zu erstellen. Dazu gibt es den Menülink für jDownloads --> Neuen Download erstellen

Bei der einen Seite klappt das problemlos, bei der anderen bekommt man beim Aufruf des Menülinks den Fehler "0 - Call to a member function get() on null".

Ich verstehe das nicht. Woran kann das liegen und wie kann ich das debuggen?

Do you mean you have a Domain and a Sub Domain?Or have you installed Joomla and jD  in the main site which on a CPanel system would be in directory public_html and accesses by say www.mainsite.com and also in a subdirectory called say testsite whichich would be accessed by www,mainsite.com/testsite/index.php
You mave used say Akeeba  to set up the "testsite" from your "mainsite".
Fron a jD view you will need to change the contents of Config - Downloads tab - Upload directory path to include /testsite at the endColinPS I do this myself as a testing mechanism!!

Hi,
ich habe dein Posting um den fehlenden Teil ergänzt. Den hattest du mir ja auch noch einmal via E-Mail zugesendet.

Zu deinem Problem:
Um herauszufinden wo genau die Fehlermeldung auftritt, aktiviere bitte die Joomla Debug Funktion wie hier beschrieben.
Ein pic der Auflistung wäre dann hilfreich.

Hallo,

hoffentlich wird diesmal nicht wieder alles abgschnitten.

Nach einem nochmaligen Vergleich habe ich festgestellt, dass auf der funktionierenden Seite die Plugins "Content - jDownloads" und "jDownloads Example" deaktiviert sind. Das habe ich auf der anderen Seite dann auch gemacht und nun funktioniert's.

Danke für die Rückmeldung. Allerdings haben beide Plugins eigentlich nicht wirklich etwas mit der Funktionalität der Bearbeitung im Frontend zu tun. Auch hat niemand sonst dieses Problem bisher gemeldet. Leider hattest du den Tipp mit der Debug-Funktion nicht verwendet, sonst hätten wir nun eventuell genauere Informationen wo der Fehler auftritt. Aber so ist jetzt zumindest für den Moment dein Problem gelöst.
