Hi,
I found one problem.
Here is the situation.
I have Bulgarian and English languages.
I have created categories:
Category 1
Category 2
If I switch to BG language, the link for category 1 will be:
/component/jdownloads/category/objectONE?Itemid=-1
If I switch to EN language, the link for category 1 will be:
/en/component/jdownloads/category/objectONE?Itemid=-1
This work perfect for now and correct.
What if I want to associate menu, to this category, because I want to use jDownload top rated. As we now, this module required menu, to be Module Assignment to be visible.
I have created menus, for BG and EN and both menus points to Category 1
If I switch to BG language, the link for category 1 will be:
/obekti/novItem/category/objectONE
If I switch to EN language, the link for category 1 will be:
/en/obekti/novItem/category/objectONE
The problem:
the link: /en/obekti/novItem/category/objectONE
Doesn't exist and doesn't open the category.
So, how I can fix this to work correctly, for example:
/en/objects/newItem/category/objectONE
Thanks
Hi
First I reget I am not very experienced in multi language setups so I am not quite sure what you are asking.
However you do not need a menu link to be able to show a module. As I understand it you need two copies of the Top Rated Module, one in the Bulgarian 'section' and the other in the 'Engish' section.
Hope that helps.
Colin
Hi,
Thanks for the answer. I spoke with Arno and there is a bug for multi-language sites.
I will use the old way, without menus attached for the categories and the URL will be:
en/component/jdownloads/download/15-seria45/178-bdz-45-157?Itemid=450
Thanks :)
Hi
Thanks for update. I was not aware of a general multilanguage problem as I have never written a multilanguage site!!
