Title: Spanish translation backend manually
Post by: santo1227 on 07.01.2015 16:14:04
Hi,

I tried to change the language in the backend but don't apply the changes (lateral component menu default joomla and panel de control please see attached image).

administrator/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_jdownloads.sys.ini
administrator/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_joomlaupdate.ini

and tried to create the language on

administrator/components/com_jdownloads/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_joomlaupdate.ini
administrator/components/com_jdownloads/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_jdownloads.sys.ini

What can it be?

Regards

Hi,
please activate the debug language option in the Joomla global configuration.
Try it then again and check the results in the output footer.

Maybe is the spanish translation not complete yet for the backend?
From where have you get it?

Hi,

with debug language appears this line:

JROOT/administrator/language/es-ES/es-ES.com_jdownloads.ini : error(es) en la(s) línea(s) 625, 1405

but the file have 427 lines.

The translation is incomplete, I download it from:

http://www.jdownloads.net/translations/jdownloads-3-x-languages/es-ES

So I have to do it manually

I will contact the translators on transifex.
But it seems that it is already in work.
See pic.

Please note that i can not create every day a new installation package. So the install files on www.jdownloads.net are not always the newest.  :-\
Maybe should you wait a day or two. Or send me a reminder and i will then create a new package.
