Title: adjust php**.ini [sorted out]
Post by: Tom100 on 26.10.2020 12:22:18

The in use php.ini is the php74.ini

I can see that in the section "loaded configuration file in the backend of our joomla 3.9.22 installation.
/home/ch976/conf/cgi/domainname/php74.ini

In the admin panel of our provider I can adjust there some settings and I adjusted the size to 128MB. But "jdownloads" still tells me that the max size is 5000kb.
I cannot adjust this and I don't know why jdownloads uses php.ini when joomla is using the php74.ini.

Because of different php versions I can adjust the version from 7.2/7.3/7.4 .
Can I adjust someting in a jdownload config file to tell it, which file is in use?
Or do you have another suggestion.

Hi

All my sites just use php.ini  Not come accross one that uses phpnn.ini where the nn reflects the version.

Actually I am not sure where Jommla! tells which php ini file it is using  :(   Suppose one could search the PHPinformation but in effect that is only a downloadable file.

However that may not be the problem.  I presume that you are referring to uploads in the Frontend.jDownloads sets up the size limit in each of the User Groups Settings.  So the effective size becomes the smaller of the twoSee

Could you advise what you find please.

Hi Colin. I could adjust it. Thank you.
I made a mistake because of more groups set to the user I tested.
After adjusting all of them it works.

Best regards
