Title: Fehlermeldung beim Start von jdownloads
Post by: personalithies on 09.11.2018 14:13:45
Hallo alle zusammen
Ich habe folgendes Problem: Seit 2-3 Wochen bekomme ich beim Versuch jdownloads unter Joomla 3.9.0 im Register "Komponenten" aufzurufen folgende Fehlermeldung:
Fatal error: 'break' not in the 'loop' or 'switch' context in /homepages/8/d15916041/htdocs/joomla3/administrator/components/com_jdownloads/jdownloads.php on line 4319
Ich nutze jdownloads in der Version 19.2.10 und PHP 7.2

Bleibt mir jetzt nur die Neuinstallation, oder gibt es einen anderen Weg?

Hi
I have used Google Translate as my German is only 'tourist' level!!
You say "I use jdownloads in the version 19.2.10 and PHP 7.2"
jD version  1.9.2.10 does no run onJoomla! 3.2 or higher versions so it is a little more challenging!I assume you have recently upgraded your Joomla from version 3.0 or 3.1 to 3.9

Before doing anything described below please let us know how many Downloads and Categories you had in your 1.9.2.11 system. Also have you added descriptions and images to the Downloads?Do you have a working version with jD 1.9.2.11?Are all your Downloads available as Public?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Possibilities are given below as a general item.  To make a better assesment could you please PM me with site super used info. (to PM click on whitish square wit a tail below my name)

Using Migration as noted below might be an option or you could recreate but that will loose any descriptions etc that you might have added to your Dowloads

Hopefully you still have a copy of your previous version that you could restore.  If you have then you could follow the migtation as described in the documentation.
http://www.jdownloads.net/documentations/item/how-to-upgrade-jdownloads-component-from-1-9-x-to-latest-3-x-version
Might be best to migrate to say Joomla Joomla! 3.3.6 and then higher.  But do on a test site!!!
The basic challenge were the changes to the database.

Alternatively another way is to save all the files and directories in the jdownloads folder using an ftp such as Filezilla. Then uninstall jDownloads completely. Now this may also involve you in accessing you site cPanel and using phpMyAdmin to delete the 8 tables with jdownloads in their name.  Assuming your jD root directory was jdownloads the you should rename it using say your cPanel file manager or with FileZilla to say jdownloads-original.  The latest version of jD can then be installed and the files added to make downloads.
